Liam and Jimmy sat opposite each-other at a single desk in registration, arm-wrestling or going over song lyrics, this morning it was song lyrics, the lyrics Liam had written that Jimmy came up with the finale to. They were just going over the finale when the door was opened and two people entered the room, one of them being the principle, and the other a new girl that nobody recognised.
"Good morning, this is Daniella Magiltin"
"err, it's…" Daniella tried to correct him but he didn't seem to hear
"She'll be joining you in your registration group for the rest of the year, I hope you'll welcome her and allow her to blend in with you" He smiled
She was going to blend in with everyone else just the same was as Liam and Sally did…Not at all. What with her long black hair and almost innocent Goth type make-up, and clothes that matched pretty well with what Jimmy wore, you could tell there was only one group she was ever going to fit in with.
The principle left and Daniella was left standing by the door like a lemon, until she spotted an empty seat, about five seats away from where Jimmy and Liam were now having an arm-wrestle, a rather noisey one at that.
"Go on you weakling! Give in!" Liam was saying over and over to Jimmy
"NEVER!! You're the weakling! Mwahahah! I can play the drums and you can't!"
Liam let his arm fall
"Oww, what does playing drums have to do with anything?" he raised an eyebrow as he rubbed his arm where it had hit the table
"Absolutely NAF ALL my friend, I just felt like saying it"
"That doesn't surprise me at all Jim"
On their way to their first lecture Jimmy and Liam met up with Danny, who was in the same lecture as them.
"Hey Dan, guess who got the new girl?" Jimmy said as soon as they were near enough to hear each-other
"Not a clue" Danny muttered in monotone
"WE DID!"
"SCORE!" suddenly Danny was interested "What's she like?"
"We didn't speak to her, but she's most defiantly a goth, and we think she's Irish or something, but the principle pronounced her name wrong or something, because she tried to correct him" Jimmy replied, sounding like a little child on Christmas morning
"Cooool"
Liam suddenly burst out laughing, which made both Jimmy and Danny jump about a foot in the air
"What's funny Li?" Jimmy asked looking scared
"You two" Liam managed through his laughs
Danny and Jimmy just looked at each-other then raised an eyebrow each at Liam, who simply pointed behind them. They turned around to see Daniella looking at them, or at least they thought she was looking at 'them' actually she was just looking at Liam
-My GOD you are so cute- she was thinking, but looked away when she noticed the other two looking and ran off down the corridor to where she assumed her first ever lecture was, her black hair flying behind her as she ran, giggling to herself.
Jimmy and Danny looked back at each-other again, then at the still laughing Liam, and back to each-other.
"Are you going to or am I?" Jimmy said to Danny
"Go on, I did it last time"
Jimmy pulled a bottle of water from his bag and took the lid off, then turned it upside down over Liam's head.
"OI!" Liam protested and batted the bottle away, spraying Jimmy with the contents, Jimmy just laughed as he managed to grab hold of the bottle before it completely emptied and tightened the lid back on it again.
Liam also saw the funny side of things, but didn't guffaw again.
Daniella was the first to arrive at the English lecture quickly followed by Allie (Sally didn't do English because she said it was ' A waste of time and effort'). The lecturer spotted Daniella and asked her to introduce herself to the rest of the class once they all arrived, but for now could she simply write her name on the board.
"sure" she took the marker pen from the lecturer and happily wrote on the sheet of paper that covered the board in the corner-

"Magiltin?" the lecturer, who's name was Susan, asked
"no, no, Meg-ill-tone, it's Irish" Daniella explained
"Oh right, I see" Susan looked around at the rest of the class, which had now assembled "Well, go ahead and introduce yourself"
"err, ok, so I'm Daniella Magiltin, erm, just started here today, hoping to make friends with some of you and err…yeah…I'm friendly…and…I like music" she grinned out at them all before darting to the back of the room where she sat down next to Allie, un-aware of the fact Allie had done almost exactly the same thing four weeks previous.
Half way through the lecture they were allowed to go off and do their own work, or work in their own groups. Allie and Daniella both turned to each-other and said, at the same time
"Work with me?"
Then both burst out laughing
"Sure" Allie agreed to work with Daniella without hesitation, she liked the new girl.
"So who's in your registration group?"
"I only caught two names, Liam and…" Daniella didn't get to finish what she was saying because Allie started laughing again
"Oh no you got THOSE TWO?! Poor you"
"They seemed ok actually…Liam's pretty cute…"
-uh-oh, this ain't good…I know things about Liam that only him, Jimmy and me know, this could be bad-
"Yeah, not bad" Allie lied, it wasn't that she didn't think Liam was good looking, in fact she quite liked him herself, but she just knew that some things were bound to go wrong in Liam's life, and somehow she thought that 'girl's' would be one of them.
"You know him then?"
"Know him? He's one of my best friends"
"Oh really? So you know the other two guys too?"
"Two guys?" Allie was puzzled for a second "Oh you mean Jim and Dan, yeah, I introduced Danny to Li, Sal and Jim, Jim had already met Li when I met them, it was a weird thing"
"Sounds like it"
"Anyway, enough about me, what about you?"
"Me? I just moved here, I used to live down by the coast, but my parents wanted to move further inland and we ended up around here, so that's me, pretty simple really"
"Yeah, it is simple, which is what makes it so good"
Allie didn't meet up with Liam and Jimmy during their break and lunch because she insisted on showing Daniella around the rest of the college, which took almost an hour because there was so much around, Daniella's proper introduction to the guys and Sally would have to wait for another day.
Dear Diary
To quote something I read somewhere - Dear heart, I met a boy today, prepare to shatter - and MAN I think it's true!
I started my new college today and already made at least one friend, her names Allie and she seems REALLY cool, reminds me somewhat of myself really XD, except I'm probably not as cool as she is.
And This guy I like's in my registration group, and OMG he is so CUTE! He's got long hair and EVERYTHING!
He was especially cute when he noticed me looking at him, he laughed because he thought I was looking at his two friends, Jimmy, who's also in my group and Danny, or at least I think that's what Allie said his name was. Allie knows because she's friends with all of them too, she said she'll introduce me when she can get us all together. There's another girl too, her name's Sally Phelan, which sounds cool, her surname sounds kind of Irish which is brilliant.
I can't believe the principle got my surname wrong though, that was so embarrassing! I tried to correct him but he wouldn't listen, but I don't think many of the other students were really listening anyway, so maybe it won't make a difference.
Anyway, better go and sort out what I'm gonna wear tomorrow, Signing off
