Allie was relieved to see Danny already sitting in their registration room; Sally was the only one who didn't share registration with anyone from their group.
She sat down next to him and instantly started talking, making sure the conversation didn't worm around to Liam.
First period English again, write a poem about something that happened to you in the past 24hours, was the task.

"well mine's more of a song than a poem" she said to Susan (the lecturer) as she handed it over half an hour later

Susan was silent for several seconds after reading it through, Allie simply stood there staring at the last 'chorus' thinking to herself
'Maybe I shouldn't have written it like that'
"Well…" Susan finally breathed "It's one of the best pieces I've read so far from this class"
'OH GOD OH GOD DID SHE JUST SAY THAT?!' Allie was almost in shock but managed to hide it
"Oh, uhm…great" She was aware that Daniella was glaring at her and wouldn't have minded all that much if a hole had opened up beneath her
"Do you mind if I read it out?" Susan suddenly asked
Allie jumped
"Uhm, no, err…can I be excused though?"
"Feel free"
"Thank you" with that Allie grabbed her bag and rushed outside, where she sat down on a bench and pulled a bottle of ice from her bag, she'd suddenly felt extremely hot and needed to escape

At break Allie was already sitting with her back against the wall in the library when Liam walked in, looking uncomfortable, nervous and tired. He spotted Allie, after searching for a while, sitting in the corner, behind as many bookshelves as possible, with her back against the wall, head on her knee's.
"Allie?" He said quietly, not wanting to make her jump
"Hmm?" she muttered
He sat down beside her
"Li, why do you do it?" she asked him, opening her eyes, which had been shut until she felt him sitting beside her.
He sighed and slowly rolled his sleeve up again to look at the mess he'd made of it, then looked at Allie
"You really want to know?"
"uh-huh"
"I don't know, I mean I know why I started, but I don't know why it's gotten so bad"
"Who else knows?"
He sighed again and leant his head against the wall behind him, breathing in the smell of the library, fresh, clean and full of knowledge
"Only you and Jim, I only wanted Jim to know, I didn't want anyone else, because I thought you'd all try and physically stop me, or just never want to speak to me again, I'm ashamed of it, I want to stop, I just don't think I can"
"Well I'll be here for you if you ever need someone to talk to, and Jim is too, as you already know"
Liam smiled at her
"Thanks" Then he remembered that morning, but Allie read his mind
"Li, You noticed how Daniella looked all upset this morning right?"
"yeah…"
"Well, that's because she likes you, and when she saw how close me and you were this morning, she instantly thought me and you were like, an item"
Liam sighed and buried his head in his hands
"Thanks for telling me Al"
"But she didn't believe me when I said we weren't"
"Why does that not surprise me?"
"…"
Liam looked up and into her eyes
"Maybe we should be an item"
"Li what the frick are you saying?"
"Nothing, it was just an idea…"
He buried his head again.
"Look Li, I see what you mean, but, it just wouldn't work, it's not right, just to make Dani jealous, what's the point?"
He simply grunted his agreement.
The bell rang for the end of break, Liam didn't move, but Allie got to her feet.
"I've got to go now Liam, I need to talk to Danny and Jimmy" she picked up her bag and left him, it pained her to do it but she had to talk to Danny and Jimmy as soon as possible.
As luck would have it, for Liam's ears at least, Daniella was just around the corner of the book case
"Been spending some 'alone' time with Liam have you?" she demanded of Allie
"DANI!" she almost shrieked, but managed to keep her voice down
"Yes?"
"Will you STOP accusing me of going with Liam, I'll never go out with him, now will you STOP acting like you're jealous!"
"HAH! Never go out with him, strange, that poem you wrote in English sounded the opposite"
"Oh Dani, learn to read PAST the meanings on the surface"
"Please listen when I say

Hmm, doesn't seem to be any 'hidden' meaning there, You always want him to come to you, you don't care if anyone else is upset"
"You have a lot to learn Daniella Magiltin, now get out of my way, I need to find Jim and Dan, I NEED to TALK to THEM" Allie shoved past Daniella and out of the library.
Daniella slowly peered around the corner, where Liam had been sitting, was an empty space.
"darn, I was hoping he'd hear all of that" she muttered to herself as she too left

Allie found Jimmy and Danny standing outside the only class they both shared with her, Media Studies.
As they sat down Allie muttered to them both
"I need to talk to both of you, as soon as possible, it's important"
They looked at each-other, grimaced, but nodded at Allie. Jimmy sat beside her and whispered in her ear
"If it's about Liam, and I know you know, he told me, don't say anything, Dan doesn't know" She smiled at him as if to say 'I know dear, now stop worrying'
Half an hour into the class and Allie had explained what she had in mind.
"Sounds like fun" Danny had immediately said, Jimmy took some persuading however
"Aww, c'mon Jim, you know it'll be fun, and Li won't have to do anything, so that's a bonus for him" Finally he was persuaded
"OK, I'm in" He smiled at Allie, and then Danny
"So, where's these lyrics then?" Danny asked, seconds later Allie produced three sheets of paper and handed one to each of them, keeping the third for herself.
In silence they read

"I already have the bass line all set out and everything, so it's up to you two really" Allie explained

Liam was surprised to find Jimmy, Danny and Allie in the small room they used to practice, but didn't query it, and didn't assume that she was simply keeping an eye on him, which she wasn't anyway.

An hour later Allie left, after impressing all three of them with her first performance with a drummer and guitarist behind her bass line and vocals, which she shared with Danny, leaving only Jimmy and Danny with Liam.

Five hours later, they too left, and all traipsed back to Liam's for dinner, which was simply pasta and whatever they could throw together, the rest of the evening they sat and talked about whatever came up in conversation, until around ten, when Jimmy fell asleep, Danny quickly following, leaving Liam awake in the almost pitch black of the lounge area of his one two room apartment. He lay there on the sofa for about ten minutes, just staring at the ceiling, then silently he got up and staggered to the bathroom…

I don't usually write a diary, but after today's events? Eugh, I just HAVE to get it all down!
1st off - Liam. Now I know why he's acting a tad strange. It makes me sad because he didn't feel he could tell anyone, I'm pretty worried about him too, because some of those cuts weren't all that old, some of them were still really new.
2nd - Dani. I mean, really! What was I supposed to do, just stand there and watch Li walk away? When I know what he's hiding under those shirtsleeves? I couldn't just watch him, and then she thinks we're like, going out? I mean, seriously! I love Liam to bits, but only as a friend, and especially after today, me and Li as a couple? It just doesn't work, It'll never happen. If anything happens between me and any of the guys, it's gonna be Dan, I just know it somehow…but I have been wrong on this subject several times before…

But it looks like I may be able to score a few recordings, with Jim and Dan, those two are sooo cool, and Dan can really sing! I'm so glad they let me do that, it was so fun, and I don't think Li thought I was keeping an eye on him at all, which is great, because I wasn't even trying to do that.

Ah, I'm going to sign off now.

That Allie is a Scheming bitch! She says there's nothing between her and Liam! I'm not STUPID! I wasn't born yesterday! She knows I like him, why didn't she TELL me they were together? Ergh, some friend!

And then she goes and writes that thing during English then tries to say sho doesn't care for him in that way! How LAME.

Liam - Liam doesn't write this diary entry until three O'clock in the morning, he had been asleep, but woken up again and writes this
Diary…
Fucking hell! I need some serious help now, I thought my arms were a mess yesterday! They're worse now! Shit WHY did I drink so much last night? I got so pissed I had no idea what the fuck I was doing. I swear, I will never drink again, not until I'm over this self-harm shit, if I make THAT much of a mess when I'm drunk it's not worth it, the high of being drunk and all, and then I just go crazy with a knife.
And then that thing with Allie yesterday, and Daniella…why's Daniella jealous of Al? she has no reason to be, there isn't anything between us, Al likes Dan, I can see that and I think Dan likes her, so it's just a matter of time before they hook up, but argh! Why Daniella? I don't have time for this shit now.

Dan and Jim are asleep in the lounge, I'm going to have to go back in there in a minute, I don't want Dan to know about the self-harm stuff, but I need Jim to know, maybe Dan'll have to find out, and have Jim explain it to him, I can't bear explaining it myself again. I don't want to be doing this…I'm not proud of it…I hate having to cover up all the time…I never used to have to.

OK, signing off, I'm too pissed still to really be writing this anyway
