"Why you"
"Yeah Daniella? What about me?" Allie forced herself to be civil with her
"Why didn't you tell me there was something with you and Liam?"
"I keep telling you, there ISN'T"
"Then what's with the writing in music?"
"Dani" Allie shook her head and looked at her "I didn't even KNOW I'd written it, I wasn't even looking at my pen or paper when I wrote it"
"Oh…"
Allie turned and started walking away again
"So who shouted?"
"That was Sally"
"…"
"She's down the corridor, but I wouldn't recommend going down there just yet"
"Fair Do's" Daniella turned back and re-entered the Library
Allie sighed to herself
"I need to find Jimmy and speak to him" she muttered and looked out of the window closest to where she was standing. A lone figure stood in the court-yard, looking up at the sky as if studying it with great intent.
-who on earth is that?- she silently wondered then walked away.
When she got back to her work, sitting on the table looking at it was Jimmy, looking more interested than Allie would have expected him to.
"Oh, hey Jim, I was erm…kinda looking for you"
"You were? Great, what's up?"
"Erm…you were with Liam last night, right?"
"Yup, so was Danny"
"Yeah, right, well, why isn't he in today?"
"He was still asleep when me and Dan left"
"Hmm? anything else?"
Jim looked at her and she knew what he wanted to say
"How bad?"
Jim looked serious
"Bad, and I mean it BAD"
Allie's face fell
"You should go and talk to him Al"
"You think?"
"Uh-huh, but don't try and stop him, just talk to him, together we're goign to help him win this battle"
Allie Smiled at him
"I have a class next, but I don't really want to go anyway so I'll go see Li instead, you mind putting my stuff away for me? I should get going now or I'll be seen by my teacher"
"Sure"
"Thanks" She smiled as she grabbed her bag and ran out of the room, ignoring Daniella and running down the corridor to the nearest exit from the building.
It only took her twenty minutes to run from the college to Liam's appartment, and she was more than glad when she was allowed in, to find that she'd walked in on his first, and definatly not last attempt to end the nonsense.
"Liam what on earth are you doing?" it was a question normally asked in a tone of annoyance, but Allie put a certain tenderness into her voice.
He looked up at her in such a manner that she thought he'd shatter if she just touched him.
"I don't know Allie... and I don't want to be doing it... but I'm too far gone to stop" he had tears in his eyes
She softened and fell to her knee's in front of him
"It's ok Li, we're all going to help you through this, we won't just leave you behind, let you fail everything, everyone, you're too good for that, too special"
He looked up at her
"You really mean that? but... I'm nothing special..."
"You keep telling yourself that and it'll be true"
“But, everyone who I thought would always be there for me, my family, they…”
“Liam, these things happen, now what have you been doing to yourself? Please, let me see, I want to help you”

Dear Diary
Allie came over today and stopped me finishing all this, it won’t be the last time, I’m sure I’ll try it again at least once before the year is out. So far this year just about everything that CAN go wrong HAS gone wrong.
Allie stopped me, so instead I’m just going to have two matching scars on my shoulders, I don’t even remember what happened with the first one, it was all so long ago… I think my dad was somehow to blame, but I never found out how, my mother never told me.
